English: The Ulysses S. Grant Home State Historic Site is a house at 500 Bouthillier Street in Galena, Illinois. It was designed by William Dennison, built around 1859 or 1860, and given to returning American Civil War General Ulysses S. Grant in 1865. (Five years before, Grant had rented a house at 121 South High Street, afterwards known as the First Grant House.)
