Category:Unknown treasury (Olympia)
English: Pausanias lists ten treasuries, six from the west end of the terrace, archaeologically verified as I-VI. Then he authenticates from the east end, where he saw some inscriptions. These are pinned to XI, which still has an inscription. However, Pausanias at this point in the sequence has only four more, but there are six foundations. VIII is not a treasury, leaving VII unknown. It is hypothesized that the text mentioning it was lost in scribal transmission, as the text is not very good.
