Category:Warring States script characters

Warring States (476 to 221 BC) was a period of Chinese history. The unearthed scripts from this period include bronze, Chu bamboo and silk and Qin bamboo and slip. The characteristic of scripts of this period is different between each states and vulgar forms replacing standard forms. The Qin script was the most conservative one in Warring States. Along with military victory of Qin, Qin script replace most variants of six-state script, and modern script like clerical (隸書 Lishu) and standard script (楷書 Kaishu) was decedents of Qin script.
