Warwickslade Cutting was a straight drainage ditch dug circa 1850 in the New forrest. In 2009, The Forestry Commission decided to fill it in and replace it with a meandering stream. The contracters Alaska has built a light railway to assist in this work. For more information see http://www.newforest.hampshire.org.uk/forest_notes/notes_oct09.pdf
