Deutsch: Wilhelm Boppel (* 20. Mai 1841 in Eichelberg bei Bruchsal; † 3. Dezember 1896) übernahm 1865, gemeinsam mit dem Porzellanmaler Gottlieb Mahn, das Atelier des Fotografen Johann Bleibel in Schwäbisch Gmünd . In Heidenheim hatte der Lithograph Alexander Schäffer 1867 ein Garten-Glashaus für Boppels Filiale errichtet, die der Fotograf bis 1875 (zunächst zusammen mit Mahn und ab 1869 alleine) betrieb.
