Built in 1872 and renovated in 1893, this Italianate-style house located at 515 North Carroll Street in Madison, Wisconsin, was constructed for William and Hontas Daniels. The house is clad in wooden clapboard, with a front and side gable low-pitch roof, eaves with paired brackets, red brick chimneys, an attic quatrefoil window on the front and side gables, a one-story bay window on the side facade with decorative panels, pilasters, and brackets, a front porch with clustered Doric columns, open brick pier foundation, paneled railings, and a low-slope roof, four-over-four double-hung windows, a front door with a decorative trim surround and sidelight, and a rusticated stone base.
The house is a contributing structure in the Mansion Hill Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
