English: Soft confectionery made from fruit and berry puree (mostly apple) with added sugar and egg white foam. Somewhat similar in consistency to Schokokuss / Mohrenkopf, krembo, and marshmallows. It is derived from the traditional Russian pastila but with whipped egg whites. Despite the form resembling traditional meringue, it is never crisp, as commercial meringue.
