Italiano: Le Nozze di Zefiro e Clori è un affresco rinvenuto a Pompei nella Casa del Naviglio (VI, 10, 11, ambiente 24), oggi nel Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli (inv. 9202), di IV stile pompeiano (54-68 d.C.). L'affresco è stato variamente interpretato; fra le altre ipotesi: le nozze di Hypnos e Pasithea; Arianna addormentata e Dioniso; il sogno di Rhea Silvia in cui si manifesta Marte affiancato da Romolo e Remo. Le interpretazioni errate si individuano facilmente considerando che i tre personaggi maschili in volo posseggono delle ali.
English: The Wedding of Zephyr and Chloris is a fresco found in Pompeii in the Casa del Naviglio (VI, 10, 11, room 24), now in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples (inv. 9202), of the IV Pompeian style (54-68 AD) . The fresco has been variously interpreted; among other hypotheses: the marriage of Hypnos and Pasithea; Sleeping Ariadne and Dionysus; Rhea Silvia's dream in which Mars appears flanked by Romulus and Remus. The misinterpretations are easily identified considering that the three male characters in flight have wings.
