Name

Shouldn't this category be called "Military aircraft"? A plane is a carpenter's tool, as far as I know... Harald Hansen 21:41, 4 December 2005 (UTC)

The word "plane" is more widely used to mean "airplane" than the carpenter's tool, but "aircraft" is more commonly used in categorization and more inclusive as well (e.g., helicopters), so it is more appropriate for this use than "plane". --Paul Richter 05:28, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
