Proposed Rename

I don't really care what style we use for the naming convention, as long as it's clear, logical, unambiguous, & lends itself well to hierarchical organization. quite frankly the filing system on WMC in general is a godawful mess.

one problem with the proposed rename: there was more than one mine in (the area of) rhyolite, nv. i have images for at least 2 different mines so far, & i expect more will turn up, sooner or later. whatever naming convention we use here needs to be able to handle the concept of:

rhyolite,nv > mines in the rhyolite nv area > the montgomery shoshone mine

a naming system that can't do that is inadequate; which is why i'm oposing the name change, on the basis of the exact wording, as suggested. if we rename, the naming structure needs to be better thought out.

also: the mine wasn't technically "IN" rhyolite, nv.; more like in the general area Lx 121 (talk) 17:42, 28 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
