Category talk:Railway snowploughs

The name "Railway snowplows and snowblowers" looks far too comlicated to me. What about Rail snow equipment ? --Foroa (talk) 08:26, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

I find the current name accurate enough. People looking for that category are very likely to find it (I would use the words rail and plough in a search engine, so I think Rail snow equipment is likely to be overlooked). As for snowblowers, there are only two pictures in the category right now (some rotary snowplows are mistakenly described as snowblowers), so I think it's fine not to mention it in the category name; we should create another category for them (Rail snow blowers) if we get more pictures.

So in conclusion, I think the category should be moved to Category:Rail snowploughs (use the plural form, and remove the useless space); if necessary, we should create Category:Rail snowblowers; and finally, I suggest creating a redirection from Category:Rail snowplows, so that US users will find it. --Tryphon (talk) 12:53, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
