Maximum edit rate (e.g. edits per minute): AndreCostaWMSE-bot, which runs on the same framework, seems to make one edit every ~2 minutes when it is active, so something close to that.

- @EugeneZelenko: Working on it, but the script needs some more changes than I thought to work for our use-case. Unfortunately I won't have time to work on that until August because of vacation time, Wikimania, etc., so this request could be put on hold until then (even archived, and I can un-archive it once I restart the work). Alright, I have finally got to working on this again. I have got the script working, and am ready to do a test run – however, the script needs the upload_by_url right to work, which it doesn't currently have. Thank you EugeneZelenko! I have performed the test upload now, and it seems to be working quite well. There are a few smaller quirks to work out (for example, the "Source/photographer" field lists the artist as the photographer, while it should be the person who actually photographed it), but all in all it seems to work as it should. @EugeneZelenko: I'm wondering what you think regarding categorization. Currently, the categories added are very generic categories (like the type of ship) based on the tags in the database we're uploading from. Should those be added to start with, and then refined after upload, or is it better not to add those at all? You can see the current mapping of keywords to categories here. Sure, categories may meed refinement. If ships were notable enough, probably ship-specific categories exist. If not, will be good idea to use ship type by country category. Actually categorization was reason why I asked you about project: are there enough people to deal with categorization if account has bot status or will be better if other users will see upload in recent changes. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 15:02, 23 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
