Bot's tasks for which permission is being sought: Some logos about sports and nations were imported from Italian Wikipedia. Now they need some categories. The bot would add:

Soccer

For each nation, e.g. File:Soccer Afghanistan.png, add Category:PNG flags of Afghanistan, Category:Variations on flags of Afghanistan, Category:Flags of Afghanistan icons (if exists), Category:Soccer with flags icons‎

Basketball

For each nation, e.g. File:Basketball Algeria.png, add Category:PNG flags of Algeria, Category:Variations on flags of Algeria, Category:Flags of Algeria icons (if exists), Category:Basketball with flags icons‎

Swimming

For each nation, e.g. File:Swimming Australia.png, add Category:PNG flags of Australia, Category:Variations on flags of Australia, Category:Flags of Australia icons (if exists), Category:Swimming with flags icons‎

Volleyball

For each nation, e.g. File:Volleyball Argentina.png, add Category:PNG flags of Argentina, Category:Variations on flags of Argentina, Category:Flags of Argentina icons (if exists), Category:Volleyball with flags icons‎

Nations

For each nation, e.g. File:Algeria people icon.png, add Category:PNG flags of Algeria, Category:Variations on flags of Algeria, Category:People with flags stub icons

The file descriptions will be overrided as follow: Special:Diff/276108853.

Automatic or manually assisted: Manually assisted.

Edit type (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): Some runs, until task ends.

Maximum edit rate (e.g. edits per minute): 6.

• Sorry Valerio, I didn't notice this bot permission request and I manually uploaded the files using CommonsHepler. I guess this request should be turned from a file-import to a wikicode-edit one. I really hope you didn't write the whole code :-/ --Horcrux92 (talk) 22:52, 26 December 2017 (UTC)

  I haven't yet written the code for adding the categories in the file pages, because I stopped as soon as I noticed this request (I've just uploaded the files).
