Audio dithering exampleEdit

Article(s): en:Dither#Examples

The article contains a 16-bit sine wave and a 6-bit non-dithered one, but no 6-bit dithered version (which is kind of the point of the article). Note that a third field is already present in the article's source code, but missing the filename argument. --Sobsz (talk) 22:33, 2 July 2020 (UTC)

Simple editingEdit

I've lately been shooting a little bit of video with my DSLR. Some of it works out great -- e.g. File:Squirrel in tree eating an apple.webm -- but I'm shooting hand-held, so unsurprisingly a lot of it could use some editing.

I'm working on a 10-year-old laptop with only 4GB of RAM, and it seems like video editing tools need more. I tried OpenShot, but it locks up, especially when trying to save. Basically, no successful saves.

It would probably be enough just to have something that would let me just cut and splice. Is there anything lightweight someone can recommend? Jmabel ! talk 20:21, 4 July 2020 (UTC)

Here's the one I'd like to fix. I messed up just before the 4-second mark, but nothing before that is terribly important. I'd like to just sacrifice the first 4 seconds or so and keep the rest. - Jmabel ! talk 23:32, 4 July 2020 (UTC)

Trimming videoEdit

Trim 10 seconds from both the start of the video and end of video
I'm interested in using the video as illustration of football chants, but want to trim the obtrusive profanity at the start and the part without chanting the end. I tried doing it myself but the result looked odd and I'm not sure why. Also no one appears to be reviewing video uploads for months now. Hzh (talk) 13:13, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
