如要将定位小工具加入到您的工具箱，请在您参数设置的小工具章节中启用“位置工具”。

一、進入WMF工具模組-定位小工具，如果您已經在偏好設定中開啟此工具，可以在工具欄中點擊Locator-tool進入。
二、使用右上角的按鈕登入。
三、為了自動插入{{Location}}、{{Object location}}模板，請允許定位小工具編輯現有頁面。
四、點擊「選擇檔案」並提供要地理編碼的檔案清單，或指定某分類中的檔案。
五、點擊「載入……以進行地理編碼」。
六、載入結果預設顯示缺少{{Location}}資訊的檔案。點擊以選擇其中之一。如果此檔案已經有{{Object location}}資訊，該欄將會以原有資訊顯示。
七、在地圖上選擇其位置。至於目標位置則按`⇧ Shift`鍵。
八、點擊輸入框右側的綠色按鈕。如果想刪除已填入座標，請按左邊的`x`按鈕。
九、拍攝位置或目標位置將被保存。建議您查看該檔案的歷史頁面以確保正確無誤。
在步驟五中，您也可以點擊“在地圖上顯示……”以顯示地圖上的所有文件。這有助於發現定位不對的檔案。
