  • Nomination Scottish Bluebells or harebells (campanula rotundifolia), in Ilulissat, Greenland. --GRDN711 22:57, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
  • Decline
  •   Oppose Very noisy, blurry, out of focus --Basile Morin 04:59, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
  •   CommentParts of the image are sharp; other areas are out of focus. It’s a cacophony of vivid purple-blue and dying brown, with water droplets from melting frost. It’s lush, busy and somewhat uncontrolled. There is life in this dying plant that seeks renewal. This is the way this image is supposed to be. There is nothing I can change. I am seeking consensual review to see what the consensus QI opinion is. --GRDN711 21:25, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
  •   Oppose -Not sharp enough for QI, in my opinion. -- Ikan Kekek 08:27, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
  •   Oppose Quite noisy, and I think a deeper DoF was needed for this shot.--Peulle 08:06, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
  •   Oppose Too blurry, also way out of focus. Theres no way this would be a suitable QI. Even Photoshop would not be able to fix the image. Also inconsistent proportions --EurovisionNim 03:10, 7 December 2018 (UTC)

  • Nomination: BMW X3 Frontseitenansicht, gutes Licht, entspannender Hintergrund (by BMW USE) --Wikisympathisant 11:39, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
  • Review
  •   Support Good quality. --MB-one 12:24, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
  •   Comment manipulated number plate --Ralf Roletschek 22:51, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
  •   Oppose Image has too many shadows. Generally speaking, I would be a little more mindful and picutre vehicles during cloudy days. Sunny days in my opinion tend to produce unwanted shadows. --EurovisionNim 07:37, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
  •   1 number plate is no technical issue/ privacy. Please tell me the rule.
  •   2 where are m a n y shadows? No shadows at the object itself. Discussion here is about technical failures, not about cloudy or sunny objects. --Wikisympathisant 12:44, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
  •   Comment The number-plate question is interesting for me too. As I know there is no problem in Germany to show number plates as "Beiwerk", since no normal person can assign the license plate to the owner. Looking to the background it looks slight tilted to the right. --Milseburg 13:34, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
KFZ-Kennzeichen, egal. Meine Meinung --Hans-Jürgen Neubert 17:58, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
  •   Comment Although it is maybe not necessary to alter the plate, it's certainly not against the image guidelines, if done properly, as it is the case here. The contrasts are quite harsh, but neither do I see burnt areas nor details lost in the shadows. Lastly the image was shot slightly wide-angled, which doesn't really please the object. But that's a matter of taste not quality. The object isn't visibly distorted. --MB-one 19:47, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
  • ̈*̈  Comment"harsh contrast" Where? Lost saturation in middle (Car glass), totally lost´s in the shadows. WB is wrong, and I do not write about cropping white. Sorry, but some comments are really not helpfully for startes;-) Es gibt hier Tonnen von Auto-Fotos, mein Gebraucht-Wagen Händler macht meist bessere.
  •   Support - I don't really understand the complaints about shadows. Good quality photo of the car, questions about the license plate aside. -- Ikan Kekek 08:40, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
  •   Support Generally a bit too dark as always with white objects but not so bad to be rejected. I can't understand the objections regarding the license plate.--Ermell 09:11, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
  •   Oppose number plate, Horizon crooked, too wide and shadows too dark. --Ralf Roletschek 22:34, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
  •   Comment Hi Ralf, found other QI with number plate and there is no rule for that, see above; similarly for the shadows. Is the horizont really crooked, think it's slope of the bridge. Kind regards.--Wikisympathisant (talk) 19:15, 7 December 2018 (UTC)

  •   Oppose Wb is sort of bluish, and the background gets increasingly distracting and unsharp as you look up --Daniel Case 04:39, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
Comment I don't really see issues with the file. The background getting unsharp when looking up is what I'd expect here. Please, let's discuss. --Poco a poco 10:11, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
  •   Oppose per Daniel.--Peulle 13:05, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
  •   Oppose per Daniel.----Fischer.H 16:27, 1 December 2018 (UTC)

  •   Comment Good, but like the other one, grainy. Could you possibly improve the sharpness of the blue carpeting? -- Ikan Kekek 08:09, 24 November 2018 (UTC)
  •   Comment I uploaded two new versions. Both with more sharpness. With carpet I´m not sure, like more details only at the steps.Pitty thing room maid was nor far away. Next time I will ask for hoovering;-)--Hans-Jürgen Neubert 09:01, 24 November 2018 (UTC)
  •   Comment So the carpet was dirty and clumpy? But I still feel like the photo is a bit blotchy in ways not explainable by dirt. I think I'll leave it up to someone else to judge this photo. If no-one comes along within a couple of days, please feel free to set this photo to "Discuss". -- Ikan Kekek 00:39, 25 November 2018 (UTC)
  •   Comment Last try, wit VD 3 (new plugiɲ) think now it´s final. --Hans-Jürgen Neubert 07:34, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
  •   Comment I'm sending this to CR for others to pass judgment. Thanks, Hans-Jürgen. -- Ikan Kekek 17:08, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
@Ikan Kekek: But you could go first here give a clear vote. --Milseburg (talk) 13:46, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
  • OK, I guess when pushed, I'll go with mild   Oppose per remarks above. -- Ikan Kekek 21:46, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
