  • Nomination White-backed vulture (Gyps africanus), Chobe National Park, Botswana --Poco a poco 18:30, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
  • Decline
  •   Oppose Insufficient quality. Shot in the backlight, no color, unsharp --Basile Morin 03:35, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
  • Backlight is no reason to oppose, the other comments are not that bad imho --Poco a poco 19:56, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
  • Backlight is a very fair reason to oppose here because the light is absolutely wrong. See Image guidelines : Exposure to get satisfaction with my "bad comment". That bird is dark like coal because the sun comes in front. Blown highlights, dull colors, chromatic aberrations in the branches, beak, body. Regards -- Basile Morin 01:19, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
  •   Neutral for now — better than quite a handful of recently promoted pictures, however, CA needs to be fixed. --GerifalteDelSabana 12:06, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
  •   Oppose Slightly unfortunate lighting, but I'm mostly surprised that a veteran like Poco hasn't cleaned up the CA.--Peulle 22:06, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
+1 --GerifalteDelSabana 03:05, 22 November 2018 (UTC)
  •   Oppose per others. This example of a subject in shadow doesn't work because the contrasting light is too glary. -- Ikan Kekek 07:52, 22 November 2018 (UTC)
Total: 0 support (excluding the nominator), 3 oppose →   Declined   --Ikan Kekek 07:52, 22 November 2018 (UTC)
