উইকি লাভস আর্থ 2015'' হল একটি আন্তর্জাতিক ফটোগ্রাফিক প্রতিযোগিতা যা অনুষ্ঠিত হয় – প্রাকৃতিক ঐতিহ্য (সুরক্ষিত এলাকা) - বিভিন্ন দেশে। সমস্ত অংশগ্রহণকারী দেশগুলির জন্য স্থানীয় দলগুলি দ্বারা সংগঠিত পৃথক প্রতিযোগিতা রয়েছে, তাই সময়কাল, নিয়ম, পুরস্কার ইত্যাদি কিছুটা আলাদা হতে পারে। সর্বোপরি দেশের ফাইনালিস্ট নির্বাচিত হয়েছে, একটি আন্তর্জাতিক জুরি আবার সামগ্রিক বিজয়ীদের নির্বাচন করবে; তুলনা করুন 2015 ফাইনালিস্ট এবং বিজয়ীদের গ্যালারি।
ধারণা
উইকি লাভস আর্থ (ডব্লিউএলই) প্রথম উইকিমিডিয়া ইউক্রেন 2013 সালে দ্বারা চালু এবং অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল। দ্বিতীয় বছরে, WLE 2014 15টি দেশ/অঞ্চলে হয়েছিল
প্রতিযোগিতার মূল লক্ষ্য হল প্রাকৃতিক ঐতিহ্যবাহী স্থানের ছবি সংগ্রহ করা - যেমন প্রকৃতি সংরক্ষণ, ল্যান্ডস্কেপ সংরক্ষণ এলাকা, ন্যাশনাল পার্ক, মনোরম/ল্যান্ডস্কেপ এলাকা, উল্লেখযোগ্য উদ্যান ইত্যাদি। ফাউন্ডেশন প্রকল্প। Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM) এর মতো, আমরা সাধারণত সরকারি সংস্থা থেকে পাওয়া protected area এর অফিসিয়াল তালিকা ব্যবহার করি।
ফোকাস শুধুমাত্র জাতীয় গুরুত্বের সাইটগুলিতে নয়, তবে আঞ্চলিক স্তরে সুরক্ষিত স্থানগুলির উপরও, এবং সম্ভাব্য বিস্তৃত প্রাকৃতিক স্থানগুলির উপরও: বন, উদ্যান, উদ্যান, শিলা, গুহা বা প্রকৃতির যে কোনও অংশ আপনার অঞ্চলে সুরক্ষিত। দেশ এর মানে হল যে বেশিরভাগ ব্যবহারকারীরা তাদের কাছাকাছি বেশ কয়েকটি প্রাকৃতিক ঐতিহ্যবাহী স্থান খুঁজে পেতে সক্ষম হবেন৷

If you decide to hold Wiki Loves Earth in your country you need to complete the required steps:
- Have or create a list of relevant protected areas (on Wikipedia or Commons). – Different countries have different systems with multiple levels of protected areas (from large National Parks to individual protected trees in the middle of nowhere). All these objects are usually defined by official documents. If there isn't any such list for your country, you can create a public list of areas worth to be called natural heritage site.
- Have or create clear recommendations for photos. – Define, what aspects photographers should focus on.
- Have a working organization team, and name the responsible contact, e.g. by a list of helping users.
- Organize a good jury for your country. At an early stage, please also think about possible prizes for winners.
- Create the landing page on Commons for your country (
Commons:Wiki Loves Earth 2015 in …), and take care for categories, templates etc. (Later on, you might need to ask other users for technical help e.g. for specific campaign adaptions.) - Questions? – please ask :)
