Organize local EventsEdit
If you decide to hold Wiki Loves Love in your country or a more locale place, you need to complete the required steps:
- Have or create clear recommendations for photos. – Define, what aspects photographers should focus on.
- Have a working organization team, and name the responsible contact, e.g. by a list of helping users.
- Create the landing page on Commons for your local event (
Commons:Wiki Loves Love 2019 in …), and translate the various templates and pages Commons:Wiki Loves Love 2019/Translations. The category for your country will be created and implemented by Romaine.
- For onsite events, set up dashboard prior to the event.
In the upload wizard, participants will be asked to indicate the country of where the photo has been taken. Romaine can provide you a special upload link for your country so participants do not have to add it.
