Scope of the Competition
editImages shall fall under the below scope, inorder to be considered for the competition. Although you are free to upload any image to commons (unless personal rights are violated). This competition inlcudes Visakhapatnam city and a anything within a radius of 100km from the city: History, Culture, Construction, Nature etc.
- Nature of Vizag
Encourage participants to capture the natural beauty of beaches, parks, hills, and any unique flora and fauna in and around Vizag.
- Religious and Colonial Buildings of Visakhapatnam
Highlight historic and contemporary religious structures, as well as colonial-era buildings that contribute to the architectural heritage of the city.
- Transportation in Vizag
Showcase the various modes of transportation, including buses, trains, ships, and other innovative forms of transit within the city.
- Buildings (Exterior/Interior) and Bridges of Vizag
Explore the architectural diversity of Vizag by capturing both the exteriors and interiors of buildings, as well as the unique bridges in the city.
- People, Sports and Events in Vizag
Showcase the sports culture and various events that take place in Vizag. This can include sports matches, festivals, cultural events, potraits of happening in city and other community gatherings.
Image Editing
editParticipants have the freedom to edit their images, but it's recommended to maintain a natural appearance. Reference images can be viewed here. In case of editing, it's crucial to save the EXIF/Metadata. Images lacking Metadata won't be considered for the contest as authorship/copyright verification becomes challenging without it.
