Commons talk:Deletion requests/Miscellaneous television photos from User:Evidian8

Uploading images that are my own work to pages of a free encyclopedia should not be problematic. As well, if one thinks it is problematic because the images display the content of a certain medium (i.e., C-SPAN or ReasonTV), one should understand that these are my own work, and that fact disspells any and all problems arising from content. Additionally, the case is similar to taking a photograph of another person's artwork, and then uploading that; and, because the photograph is your work, there is no violation of copyright. Imagine if all images that were photographed were confiscated due to the misconception of copyright! Yikes -- what a terrifying world, a censored world, that would be.

And, I'm sure, that the Libertarian Party, of whom the photographs were taken, would be in agreement with my position that my act is fully and unconditionally acceptable within any contemporary democratic society.

Release the cause for deletion of my photographs please.

Thank you.

Hi, your comments contradict Commons:Derivative works because C-SPAN or ReasonTV content is not your own work. If you proved that the copyright holders gave permission for licensing the derivative works under the licenses you gave, then the images could be kept, but I believe in this case images of better quality would be available.
