Description

A beautifully restored convent housing art gallleries, souvenir shops, pubs and restaurants. It was once home to The Catholic girls' school, the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ).

There is a special door called "Gate of Hope" in the former convent where babies were abandoned by poor families for the Catholic nuns to look after.
