English: "Camp" on Creach Bheinn Marked on the OS map as 'camp', these remains of stone huts lie between two substantial drystone dykes in a dip just below the summit of Creach Bheinn. Although reputedly the remains on a lookout post from the Napoleonic Wars, they are, perhaps more plausibly, also thought to have been erected by the Ordnance surveyors. |
