Description
Italiano: "Geczyceras" perplanum Prinz. Il fossile è stato trovato mentre si eseguivano lavori per la costruzione di un acquedotto in località Scoppio (M. Martani, Umbria) nella primavera del 1971. Anche se leggermente deformato si tratta di una vera gemma geologica per la mirabile conservazione delle suture settali evidenziate da alternanza di colori. E' un importante FOSSILE GUIDA del Toarciano superiore appenninico.
