Píllaro, Tungurahua, 05 de enero de 2017 (Andes).- Cuernos, colmillos y pelaje de varios animales adornan las aterradoras caretas en la afamada "Diablada de Píllaro", que se celebra del 1 al 6 de enero en la ciudad de Santiago de Píllaro, ubicada a 40 minutos de la ciudad de Ambato, provincia de Tungurahua.

La Diablada DE Píllaro además de ser un ícono turístico nacional, fue reconocida como Patrimonio Cultural Intangible del Ecuador en enero del 2009. ANDES/Micaela Ayala V.
