English: "Liquid & Envy", Redhill This nightclub has had a number of names over the years, 'The Embassy', 'Millionaires' and 'Busbys', before its present title. This locally listed building was built in 1938 as an Odeon cinema, to a design by Andrew Mather, who was the architect for many Odeon cinemas of that period. It was converted to a nightclub in the 1970s - see http://www.mawgrim.co.uk/cavalcade/redhill.jpg for a photo in its Odeon days. |
