Description

Here we go again with a third "unidentified" photo this week. Not as difficult as Monday and perhaps a little less difficult than yesterday. You all continue to amaze me how you get to the bottom of these photographs. This photo is from the lesser spotted Hargrave Collection.

While there were suggestions of Cobh and Dun Laoghaire, [/photos/91549360@N03/ O Mac] suggests (and others agree) that this is Bray, County Wicklow - perhaps capturing a regatta or other boat race. Despite the worthy jokes to the contrary, this image was probably not captured through a U-Boat periscope - although it seems likely it was taken from the deck of some vessel or other. (Impressive given the clarity of the image - from what may have been a moving vantage point...)
