We can see many fractals in flies, especially in their wings and eyes (due to their shape), and they have also contributed to some advances in science.

English: René Descartes was inspired by a fly to be able to measure the exact point where a fly was located, hence the Cartesian plane was born.
Thomas Morgan was inspired by the color of flies to make advances in the study of genetics. When he noticed some changes in the colors of the flies' eyes, he thought about how the color of a father's or mother's eyes can affect the color of a baby's eyes before birth.
