Description
Français : Les vestiges des château et chapelle de Grangent, datés IXe s., ne se sont pas toujours trouvés sur une île. Ils furent bâtis à l'origine au sommet d'un promontoire rocheux dominant le cours du fleuve d'une soixantaine de mètres... ce n'est que lors de la mise en eau du barrage en 1957, que le domaine s'est trouvé séparé de son grand frère d'Essalois, sur le plateau de Chambles.
