Français : Commercialisée de 1988 à 94, la Favorit est révolutionnaire à plus d’un titre: dessinée par le bureau d’études Bertone, c’est la 1ère traction/moteur AV de la marque depuis près d'un quart de siècle et surtout, le dernier modèle conçu avant la reprise du constructeur tchécoslovaque par VW, finalisée en 91 au détriment de Renault.

Si la finition est encore légère face aux meilleures références occidentales du segment le comportement routier, lui, convainc et supplante définitivement les antiques 105-120-130, dont le tout à l’arrière trahit l’âge de conception.

Plus d’1 million d’exemplaires quittent les chaines avant l’arrivée de la Felicia.
