Členění geomorfologické jednotky o řád níže je uvedeno jejím názvem a v závorce příslušným indexem. Název a index odpovídá „Seznamu geomorfologických jednotek" regionálního členění georeliéfu České republiky publikovaném v roce 2006 v Zeměpisném lexikonu ČR – Hory a nížiny. Šumavská soustava (index I) se člení na podsoustavy: Českoleská podsoustava (IA), Šumavská hornatina (IB).
