Trying to catch rainbow Sometimes, due to unique conditions, we observe especially bright and colorful rainbow, and it was just such a case, immediately after the rain. I hoped I caught it in my photos but when I examined the images at PC monitor I realised that whether my camera or me as a photographer have failed. It appears that shooting rainbows is tricky because the camera registers somewhat different picture than human eyes/brain perceives. I had to apply heavy correction trying to match with what naked eye saw and it's still not the same. I guess focal length is essential for such shooting, and longer is better. 2013-07-15-1195 |
