Description
Українська: Гал (від лат. galla — чорнильний горішок) або цецидії — паразитичні новоутворення на органах рослин (листках дуба, берези, липи, клена, вільхи, граба та ін.), що виникають внаслідок відкладання комахою горіхотворка дубова звичайна ( Cynips quercusfolii ) яйця в тканину листка. Навесні з'являється личинка, біля якої утворюється наріст кулястої форми - гал.
English: Gal (from the Latin galla - ink nut) or cecidia - parasitic tumors on plant organs (leaves of oak, birch, linden, maple, alder, hornbeam, etc.), arising from the deposition of insect nutcracker oak common (Cynips quercusfolii) eggs in leaf fabric. In the spring there is a larva, near which a spherical outgrowth is formed - gal.
