Korolenko State Scientific Library is the second largest library in terms of its holdings (more than 7 million storage units) and one of the oldest libraries in Ukraine.

The building made by architect Olexii Beketov in 1901.

As a result of the russia occupiers’ actions, Korolenko Kharkiv State Scientific Library, one of the largest libraries in Ukraine and Europe, was damaged in spring 2022.
