Село Буховичі розташоване при дорозі Мостиська-Самбір, у південній частині району. Вперше згадується в документах 1507 р. Існуюча дерев`яна церква Святих Бориса і Гліба, розміром 17,9 х 10,2 м., збудована у 1644 (1642) р. на кошти Теодора, господаря з Бухович, як свідчив напис над вхідними дверима. Ймовірно, що це дата переносу церкви, за розповідями старших мешканців, давня старіша церква стояла за селом, на горбку, на місці теперішнього цвинтару. Церква, яка є пам’яткою сакральної архітектури національного значення, – дерев’яна тризрубна одноверха будівля, завершена над навою чотирисхилим наметовим верхом з одним заломом, увінчаним маківкою. В даний час головний хрест на маківці трохи нахилений у південну сторону, але тримається добре. Спроба його вирівняти самотужки не вдалася. З часом до бабинця прибудували присінок, а у 1934 р. розширили хори. У північній стороні церковного подвір`я розташована стовпова дзвіниця розміром 3,6м х 3,6 м. Зовні храм в доброму стані, але потребує нового фарбування.
