КРЕЛЬ (Krell) Оттон Георгиевич (Отто Георг) (1893, Саксен-Мейнинген - 1913, Германия), инженер. Окончил реальную гимназию в Зальфельде. В России с 1860. Помощник главного инженера в Петербургском Обществе столичного освещения. По проекту К. проведено газовое освещение Васильевского-острова. В 1864-65 построил в С.-Петербурге самый большой в Европе газгольдер. Директор Петербургского металлического завода (1867-91). В 1882 на Всероссийской художественной выставке в Москве завод удостоен разрешения ставить на своих изделиях Государственный герб, а «саксен-мейнингенский подданный» К. «за полезную деятельность на поприще отечественной промышленности» награжден орденом Св. Анны 2-й ст. В 1883-92 разработал железные конструкции для трех корпусов Сенного рынка (С.-Петербург). В 1888 удостоен почетного звания инженера-технолога. Член Совета торговли и мануфактуры Министерства финансов России. В кон. 1890-х гг. покинул Россию и поселился в собственном доме в Нюрнберге. Был женат (1865) на Хелене Фляйшман (Fleisch-mann) из Нюрнберга. Имел двоих сыновей: Рудольф Георг Отто К. (1866 - ?) и Рудольф К. (1868- ?) |
