Русский: Скелет трилобита † Remopleurides elongatus Schmidt, 1894 на породе. Ордовикская период, поздняя эпоха, сандбийский (карадокский) век, около 458 млн лет. Кукрузеский (= кукерский) горизонт (нижняя часть), вивиконская свита, CII (по стратиграфической схеме В. В. Ламанского). Трилобит, вероятно, вел пелагический образ жизни (плавал в толще воды, как планктон), а не ползал по дну. Найден в 2018 г. Яковом Тарасовым в карьере к северо-востоку от поселка Алексеевка в Кингисеппском районе (аналогичные слои есть в карьере между д. Глядино и с. Дятлицы в Ломоносовском районе). Ленинградская область, Россия. Образец: скелет с линиями роста, крупный для этого вида - 1,8 x 1,1 x 0,4 см (с шипами), находящийся в естественном положение на куске известняка размером 5,5 x 4,5 x 4,5 см (масса 217 гр.). Экспонат музейного качества с реконструкцией менее 1 %
English: Skeleton of a trilobite † Remopleurides elongatus Schmidt, 1894 on a rock. Ordovician period, late epoch, Sandbian (Caradocian) age, about 458 million years. Kukruzesky (= kukersky) horizon (lower part), Vivikon formation, CII (according to the stratigraphic scheme of V. V. Lamansky). The trilobite probably led a pelagic lifestyle (swam in the water column like plankton), and did not crawl along the bottom. Found in 2018 . Yakov Tarasov in a quarry northeast of the village of Alekseevka in the Kingisepp district (there are similar layers in the quarry between the village of Glyadino and the village of Dyatlitsy in the Lomonosov district). Leningrad Region, Russia. Sample: a skeleton with growth lines, large for this species - 1.8 x 1.1 x 0.4 cm (with spikes), located in a natural position on a piece of limestone measuring 5.5 x 4.5 x 4.5 cm (weight 217 gr.).
