Уже в начале XIX века на городском кладбище была небольшая Ильинская церковь, приписанная к Никольскому собору. Именно вокруг этой церкви возникла в 1840-е годы женская община, из которой позже вырос Пророко-Ильинский женский монастырь. В 1886 году вместо Ильинской на средства собора была построена новая церковь, освященная во имя чудотворной иконы Казанской Божьей Матери. В начале 1930-х гг., после закрытия Никольского собора, кладбищенская церковь стала приходской, а к концу 1930-х гг. она оставалась единственной действующей в Татарстане за пределами Казани. Не закрывался храм и позже, оставаясь центром духовной жизни большого региона. Является единственной церковью в закамском регионе Татарстана, которую не закрывали. В 1982-1987 гг. приходской совет под видом реконструкции выстроил вместо деревянной церкви, пришедшей в ветхость, новую из белого кирпича. Already at the beginning of the XIX century, there was a small Ilyinsky Church in the city cemetery, attributed to St. Nicholas Cathedral. It was around this church that a women's community arose in the 1840s, from which the Prophetic-Ilyinsky Convent later grew. In 1886, instead of Ilyinskaya, a new church was built at the expense of the cathedral, consecrated in the name of the miraculous icon of the Kazan Mother of God. In the early 1930s, after the closure of St. Nicholas Cathedral, the cemetery church became a parish church, and by the end of the 1930s it remained the only one operating in Tatarstan outside of Kazan. The temple was not closed later, remaining the center of the spiritual life of a large region. It is the only church in the Transcamian region of Tatarstan that has not been closed. In 1982-1987, the parish council, under the guise of reconstruction, built a new white brick church instead of a wooden church that had fallen into disrepair. Jahrhunderts war auf dem Stadtfriedhof eine kleine Iljinskirche, die der Nikolaus-Kathedrale zugeschrieben wurde. Um diese Kirche herum entstand in den 1840er Jahren eine Frauengemeinschaft, aus der später das Prophet-Iljinski-Kloster wuchs. In 1886 wurde anstelle von Ilinskaya auf Mitteln der Kathedrale eine neue Kirche gebaut, die im Namen der wundertätigen Ikone der Kasaner Gottesmutter geweiht wurde. Anfang der 1930er Jahre, nach der Schließung der Nikolaus-Kathedrale, wurde die Friedhofskirche zur Pfarrkirche, und Ende der 1930er Jahre blieb sie die einzige in Tatarstan außerhalb von Kasan. Der Tempel wurde auch später nicht geschlossen und blieb das Zentrum des spirituellen Lebens der großen Region. Es ist die einzige Kirche in der Region Zakamsk Tatarstans, die nicht geschlossen wurde. 1982-1987 baute der Gemeinderat unter dem Deckmantel der Sanierung anstelle der Holzkirche, die in den baufälligen Zustand kam, eine neue aus weißem Backstein.
