Русский: Изображение компактного вещества диафиза трубчатой кости. Стократное увеличение, окраска по методу Шморля. Компактное вещество представлено остеонами и вставочными пластинками. Остеон - структурная единица компактного вещества - состоит из центрально расположенного канала, содержащего кровеносный сосуд, и концентрически его окружающих остеонных пластинок. Остеоны отграничены друг от друга резорбционной линией и вставочными пластинками - остатками прежних остеонов.
