В рамках відзначення 25-ліття встановлення дипломатичних відносин між Україною та Сполученими Штатами Америки в Одесі з великим успіхом пройшов концерт джаз-бенду Оркестру ВВС США в Європі «The Ambassadors» під керівництвом полковника Дона Скофілда. Мистецький захід відбувся в приміщенні Одеської обласної філармонії та зібрав повний зал шанувальників джазової музики. Програма, яку привезли американські військові музиканти в Україну, присвячена всесвітньо відомому американському джазмену і засновнику першого оркестру ВВС США Глену Мілеру. До Одеси колектив «The Ambassadors» виступав у Кропивницькому, а 1 квітня джаз-бенд планує дати подвійний концерт для киян та гостей столиці у Центральному будинку офіцерів Збройних Сил України.
