Русский: В 30-е годы очень популярной среди юных техников была маленькая лодочка, работавшая на реактивной тяге.
До сих пор эту модель периодически делают на судомодельных кружках в разных вариантах. Эта лодочка сделана на судомодельном кружке в Доме Творчества в парке Сокольники, из "подручных средств"! Основной узел модели - парореактивный двигатель. Он собирается из миниатюрного парового котла с тонкой упругой диафрагмой и двух тонких трубочек, выведенных за корму лодки и опущенных в воду. Чтобы двигатель заработал, в одну из трубочек пипеткой заливают воду. Как только из другой трубочки вода начнет выливаться, значит, котел полон. Модель ставят на воду, под котел кладут таблетку сухого горючего и разжигают его. Под действием огня в котле образуется пар, который начинает выталкивать воду из трубок - так создается импульс реактивной тяги. Давление в котле повышается до тех пор, пока тонкая упругая диафрагма не щелкнет - избыточное давление выгибает ее во внешнюю сторону. Как только диафрагма щелкнет, давление уменьшается и в котел по трубкам заливается холодная вода из водоема. Находящийся в котле пар конденсируется, давление падает ниже атмосферного, и диафрагма снова щелкает - принимает прежнее положение. Потом цикл повторяется. Двигатель будет работать до тех пор, пока не кончится горючее. Интересно, что когда лодка плывет по воде, то щелканье диафрагмы напоминает стук настоящего лодочного мотора. The boat has a wide surface area and is less dense than water that enables it to float. To make it moving a boiler is used which is heated by the tea light candles. The heat of the tea light candle converts the water in the boiler into steam which creates great pressure and forces the water to move backwards out of the boat, hence it makes the boat to move in the opposite direction that is forward. Hence; this process continues. When the tea light candles are put off, there is no conversion of water in the boiler to steam thus there will be no any pressure exerted; therefore the boat does not move. |
