Description
English: Multiphase fluid inclusion in zoisite from Merelani Hills deposit (Northeast Tanzania, Africa) containing liquid H2S, a gas bubble and a lot of solid phases. The composition of the gas phase is represented by a mixture of gases H2S-N2 ± (CH4). Solid phases in inclusion were identified: calcite (blue), quartz, graphite (black), sulfur (bubble of yellow color). Inclusion has a unique composition which indicates the reducing environment of the mineral formation. Inclusion size 100 μm. Photo taken with polarization Microscope Leica DM4500 P. Nicols crossed.
