Русский: Фрагмент фасада павильона 62 «Охрана природы» (с 1954 по 1956 год — «Строительные материалы», в 1956—1963 годы — «Атомная энергия в мирных целях», с 1964 по 1967 год — «Легкая промышленность», с 1967 — «Охраны здоровья»). Постройка 1954. Клетчатая несущая стена выложена из прозрачных стеклоблоков (диагональные стальные тяги вертикальных нагрузок не несут).
English: A fragment of the facade of the Protection of the environment pavilion (no. 62) at the VDNKh in Moscow. The whole load-bearing structure, 16 meters tall, is built of diagonally-mounted tempered glass blocks. The steel braces resist lateral shear forces. |
