Description
Русский: Район вокзала города Красный Сулин связан с пребыванием на сулинской земле М.И.Калинина. Калинин Михаил Иванович (1868-1946) – председатель ВЦИК РСФСР. Всероссийский староста, с мая 1919 по декабрь 1920 года совершил 12 поездок по стране на агитпоезде «Октябрьская революция» и посетил 260 городов и сёл. В августе 1920 года он был в Красном Сулине, выступил на многолюдном митинге перед металлургами, встретился с сулинцами в Народном Доме, где рассказал о международном и внутреннем положении молодой советской республики, ответил на многочисленные вопросы. В память об этом приезде в Сулин создан памятник и установлена мемориальная доска. Памятник поставлен на привокзальной площади 25 апреля 1982 года.
