Українська: РУБІЖ МУЖНОСТІ.... У пилу нової Вітчизняної війни, ми трохи призабули про розмах та трагедію війни попередньої... Біля села Осівці Брусилівського р-ну Житомирської обл. стоїть меморіал Рубежу мужності.... За словами одного з німецьких генералів - бої в районі Брусилова і Корнина нагадували битву на Курській дузі. Кидаючи в окремі дні проти радянських військ по 300-400 танків, німецьке командування не змогло одержати бажаних результатів". На стелах є такий напис: "У грудні 1943 року війська 1-го Українського фронт в жорстоких 40-денних боях зупинили контрнаступ німецько-фашистських військ на рубежі Овруч, Коростень, Чоповичі, Малин, Радомишль, Ставище, Брусилів, Корнин, Попільня. План німців знову захопити Київ і вийти до Дніпра провалився. Цей рубіж увійшов в історію, як Рубіж мужності військ 1 Українського фронту. Тут, на цих полях, ТИСЯЧІ радянських воїнів віддали своє життя за визволення України. Вічна їм слава ! 24 грудня 1943 року від цього рубежу війська фронту перейшли в рішучий наступ, розгромили ударне угруповання військ противника і 31 грудня 1943 року визволили від фашистських загарбників м. Житомир, а 14 січня 1944 року - Житомирську область."....
