Description
Русский: Советский многоцелевой сверхзвуковой реактивный военный самолёт. Модификация Як-28П («изд. 40», в войсках получил клички «Птеродактиль» и «Расчёска»; кодификация НАТО: Firebar). Истребитель-перехватчик с системами вооружения К-8М-1 и К-98. Самолёт строили в Новосибирске с 1962 года, испытания самолёта продолжались до 1965 года, производство завершено в 1967 году. Построено 435 машин. В процессе производства несколько раз подвергался изменениям и доработкам. Однако официально на вооружение не принимался.
