Ancient Russian folk hand embroidery in embroidery frames

Summary edit

Description
English: Ancient Russian folk hand embroidery in embroidery frames, brought from expeditions to the villages of the Kirov region. In the villages, young girls were mainly engaged in embroidery. They were preparing their dowry by the age of 13-15. These dowries included embroidered gifts, tablecloths, towels, garments, and so on. Then at the wedding, all that the girl had embroidered with her own hands, she gave to the groom's relatives. Each embroidery had its own special meaning. Most often, when embroidered on clothes, it served as a talisman. Embroidery patterns have been passed down from generation to generation, selecting and preserving the best.
