Русский: Заимки в зимнем лесу и звериные тропы, вешние воды и берёзки, ведущие хоровод среди первых проталин, летние рассветы и осенние закаты… Все оттенки и чудеса родной пижанской природы впитала память самобытного скульптора и художника Александра Лаптева за годы работы сельским почтальоном. Много за 40 лет дорог исходил, и во всем его намётанный глаз умел различить красоту.

Постоянная выставка в поселковой библиотеке вмещает лишь малую толику написанных картин и выполненных поделок. Впрочем, большинство работ живописца нашло свой путь к людям.

Хотя свое увлечение мастер называет бездельем, сам же признаётся, что без него не может, отдыхает так душой, впрочем, и без мук творчества не обходится.

Думал Александр Лаптев рисовать портреты земляков. А возможно, даже участвовать в восстановлении храмов, писать иконы, но решил, что лучше удаются пейзажи родной природы, её вольная стихия.

Сумка почтальона никогда не мешала Александру Лаптеву заниматься живописью, но после того, как повесил её на гвоздь, свободного времени стало больше. Творческих планов уйма, говорит пижанский художник, но держит их в секрете: со временем земляки всё увидят сами.
