Summary
English: The Yarkon River is the largest river in the coastal river system of the Land of Israel. In ancient times, there were several settlements along the Yarkon. The estuary of the Yarkon to the sea was at that time a convenient mooring point for boats. At that time, the channel of the Yarkon passed north to its current location, on modern Rokach Boulevard, at the foot of Tell Qasile.
