עברית: בעת שנחתמה עסקת הרכישה של יסוד המעלה, בין משפחת עבו לעולי מזריץ, בעוד הקונים החדשים סובבים בנחלה, נתגלתה לפתע, תוך כדי חפירה, אבן ועליה כתובת בארמית: "יזכר לטאב מאן דמיטבתי", שפירושה: "ייזכר לטוב כל המתיישב כאן". אבן זו, שבסופו של דבר התגלגלה כנראה עד למוזיאון בפריז, שכנעה יותר מכול את נציגי עולי מזריץ לרכוש את הנחלה". בשנת 1973 נתגלו שרידים של מבנה, סמוך לשפת אגם החולה במרחק לא רב מהמקום שבו נתגלתה הכתובת. עם חפירת האתר נחשף מבנה ציבורי עם שני טורי-עמודים מבזלת על גבי אדנים מרשימים, שהזכיר מבנה של בית כנסת קדום.
